It is i, the blog neglector. I haven't written in seven months! and imagine all the things that can happen in seven months. a great deal.
so i'm writing to you in my new home, in dublin, next door to the guinness brewery, and there is snow everywhere. but everywhere! in fact, it's mostly ice on the pavements, and i've slipped and slid all over the place this past week.
i work in a bar called the front lounge now, and i scurry about taking people drinks. there's alot of lesbians who drink bottled beer and get out of control with their dancing towards the end of the night. since i work nights, my diet has pretty much been reduced to chicken burgers and chips (usually with cheese and garlic sauce, how saucy!).
i hang out with my friend nic alot, and we watch plenty of dawson's creek and get emotional. rory and i like to go on little adventures and then take pictures of them, but we haven't had adventures in the snow yet because it's hella cold and prefer to be in the warm.
i got accepted onto a flight attendant training course! i did it. i'll probably go on the course in the next couple of months, then when i've finished it i'll have a job waiting for me at ryanair, which is pretty good because the money is way better than bar work, and i'll get to travel all over the place!
millicent fell off the mantlepiece a few weeks ago and has a hole where her tail should be, but at least she's still mostly in one piece.
the staff christmas party for work is on wednesday and i'm pretty nervous because we're all going to be very drunk and doing karaoke. it just seems like the kind of situation that breeds embarrassment the next day, week, month, year.
so that's all i have to say for the moment, but i'm sure that now i've rememebered to be diligent in blogging, i'll be back soon with more tales from the D (where it's so cold). xx

I'm back, and better than ever.
As if I didn't know this would happen. I start a blog, and write and write enthusiastically for a while, then get bored and do different things. And here we are months down the road, and I suddenly realize, "oh, I haven't written in my blog." So I'm remedying the situation by telling some stories. Lots of things have happened, though I'm not sure where to start.
I got a second job on Saturday nights at a gay people bar, which is pretty fun. And I went to Dublin yet another time, and had a really amazing four days there. Work was getting horrible, then better, then horrible, just sort of like a yo-yo. I'm saving up to move away to Dublin at the end of the summer, which I actually can't wait for. I made some wonderful friends there and there will be all new adventures to have!
Yesterday on my way to work, I saw four magpies hopping in a circle around a park bench. I'm obsessed with magpies, so this was a great thing to see.
And today, I spied two doves sitting on a rooftop kissing each other on the beak.
Can you even imagine such a thing?
Oh, and today there were bugs flying around because we leave the back door open, so I chased them around the room with a hand-hoover, and sucked them all up, so they can have a party in there with the bits of dust and dog hair.
I'm going to have to start getting ready for work very soon, but then two days off!
And Rory is coming for a visit in 13 days, which will be wonderful!
Hm, oh yes, the things I've eaten! Well, I haven't really had much of an appetite lately so I haven't really eaten anything to write home about, just lots of nothings really. In fact, a girl in work today told me I'd lost weight. I'm hungry now though, so i might make a sammige. That's right, a sammige. Sorry this isn't as fun to read as previous posts, but remember that I need to get back into the swing of things!

Holidayyyy Celebraaaaaate!
I've just this minute come home from my weekend away in a new place. So here's a play-by-play of the things that I did. I woke up early on Thursday because I'm always such an eager beaver on a travel day. Pris drove me to the plane station, and I was obscenely early, but I wanted to check that all of my papers were in order anyway. I was nerbous on the plane because of how I hate flying in the sky so much, but mostly just when the plane is taking off, or when there is a strange noise, or when I get it into my head that the engines will stop working and then it seems for a moment that they go off and you get that funny light feeling in your guts. Eugh! So then Rory collected me when I arrived and we got a bus to his home. Then we went to get some food with Darragh and Mary but it was a no eating day for me, so I just had wine instead. We watched some Grey Gardens, which was fit. I brought rain with me so it was difficult to go exploring properly. On the next day, we went for a coffee, and Rory was still really ill from being poisoned by something or other. And we accidentally watched the worst movie of all time, which is One-Missed Call. I'm pretty glad I saw it though because I know that I probably won't ever watch anything worse than that for the rest of my life. That inspired us to watch more trashy horror films, so Donna Marie and I went to the video shop and got some more things, like Elvira and the best thing ever, Motel Hell (aka Hotel Mell). It's highly recommended. Some highlights include the woman who was whip crazy, whipping everything in the motel room all willy-nilly. and Ida was a real treat too. Harry came round and we all got ready to go to Horsemeat Disco, but we didn't stay for very long because it wasn't very busy and we liked the notion of more moobies instead. Then on Saburday, we explored all over. I was terrified by a GIGANTIC leprechaun that had an evil face and great big drooping hands. We looked at Trinity College, which is where I'm going to attend a basket weaving course that I don't think actually exists. Then we wanted to find Wonderland Magazine because of the Grey Gardens article in it, but couldn't find it anywhere, and so we got the train to Rory's hometown, Malahide, which is very cute. I saw an estuary, even! We couldn't stop cackling about our Grey Gardens obsession and found ourselves speaking like those wacky women without even realizing it. We got lots of wine and played at Rory's parent's house and Darragh came over and I tried to make a daisy chain in the back garden. Then the Grey Gardens became to much for us so we watched it AGAIN. I know. Madness. Then we went back to town, and hung out with Claire from the radio station, and had a total Pet Shop Boys fest. And today was spent in the radio station with the harlequin babies and then suddenly and without warning it was time for me to go home. Now I'm back in Essex and am extraordinarily sleepyboots and can't wait to go back to Dublin again, as it's my new favourite place.
Also, I'm quite an organism.
Tomorrow I'm going to look for a part-time night time job, because two jobs is the way forward, I think. I can't think of funny things to write about today, because I've just eaten a curry that Lauren brought in to me, and I'm going to sleep.

Yesterday and Today.
Yesterday wound up with the girls and their friend Tara being drunk and high, and hunting a rat in the garden. And Tara weilding a small axe, and Pris setting off fireworks in broad daylight. I was being a smug sober, all the while, sipping water and being aloof! I even ate tofu and bulgar wheat. Before that, we had a pretty good brunch of fruit salad (asian pears, clementines, kiwifruit, purple grapes, strawberries, bananas and passion fruit). and some concotion of laurens including eggyweg, bacon, tomato and onion in a ramekin, with goats cheese on top. And cloudly lemonade to drink.
I got a bit upset about the tuna pasta not being made the right way, but the feeling soon passed.
Today, I woke up to another beautiful day of sunshine and wispy clouds, and Pris and I drove off to town to do some errands, which included me finding out what days I work this week (just tomorrow, and a week off!), then getting a key cut for me after the debacle of being locked out in the rain for hours and hours the other night. And Pris found a pair of shoes somewhere, I'm not sure where, and wanted to take them back to get the money back for them. Then we came home to do a spot of weeding of the backyard, until I was viciously attacked by a demon-spider, and Pris was assaulted by a stinging nettle, so now we're on a break, and have just had a lunch, in which I consumed about 150% of my saturated fat allowance in one fell swoop. Nebermind, I'm just going to not eat any more today unless it is a green leaf of some kind. Also, I love baby orangutans-especially ones named Peanut, and Pickle. And lion cubs. Just baby animals, really.
3 more sleeps till holiday. Things couldn't really get much better.

The Sunny Sundays
Now, I'm one who just enjoys a sunny day. I just am. I hate the days when it's cold and doom and gloom. Like the other day when I had a nightmare day at work, and FINALLY when I got home, realized I didn't have a key, and the girls hadn't gotten back from Oxford yet. So I waited. And waited. It started to get dark and cold, and started to rain. 2 hours this lasted for, until I decided to find Joe, and hang out with him instead of shivering without a jacket.
Today it's a sunny day. We're going to tidy up the downstairs, then have a fruit breakfast in the garden, in the sunshine.
Yesterday, I didn't really get to enjoy the sun as much as I'd like, but I did get lots of new magazines to browse, which was quite nice. Pris and I tried to enjoy some wine in the garden, but wound up shivering because the sun wasn't reaching us anymore, and also Lucky left us one of his dog turds nearby, so it kind of killed the mood.
4 more sleeps until I am going to Dublin. It's all very exciting, but mostly I just want to sleep and sleep until it's time to get ready to go to the plane station.
Maybe some interesting or hilarious things will happen, like just now Pris entered my bedroom chambers to tell me the Lauren sprayed her with the hose. Silly girls.

An Update
Just some things that have been happening of late.
Yesterday, it was a beautiful day, and Pris came in my room and said "Do you want to come to the airport with me to pick up tracey?" and I said "Yes, I do. Let me put my shoes on, Suzy."
So we drove to the plane station, and I passed Pris some cigarette, and she tried to ash it out the window, but her window was rolled up still, and so she whacked her hand, and looked at me and said "Now that's a clean window." And I laughed for a long time at that. Then we found a clone of my little sister Shelby. Then we found a clone of Pris. And thought it would be really funny if we found clones of our whole family. Renee the Glitch called me from America, crying. I was really worried because it sounded like somebody had just died. But it was only because they made her take mushrooms and she was freaking out at a lion and a vulture. And so much vegetation. So I made her laugh a bit about how whenever I take mushrooms, I just feel as though I'm pissing on myself for about 7 hours solid, and that's why I don't do them anymore. Because how embarrassed would you be if you asked someone to check if you were pissing yourself and you actually were?!
At work, I get to shampoo people's hair now, and give them scalp massages. It's pretty fun. And I've got a work-friend called Laura, and she and I always sneak off to smoke cigarettes behind the bins outside and giggle about it. I'm going to get my hair cut there on Wednesday, so I'm going to have to find pictures of a new hairstyle I want to have upon my head.
I'm also working on some new musics, because I've just gotten lots of new music making software, but I still don't actually know how to use it. Trial and error, I guess.
Do you know what else? I'm going to Dublin in 12 days! I seriously can't wait.
I hope everyone reading this is alive and well, because I sure am.

A Day Off From Being At Work
Today was mostly about vampires. It seems the world has gone vampire mad. And I'm including myself here. I think it's because Twilight just came out on DVD and also Let The Right One In is about to come out in the cinema.
I'm downloading lots of new movies to my hard drive to watch whenever I want. These movies include: Poor Little Rich Girl, Suspiria, BAPS, Return To Oz, Party Girl, The Doom Generation, and Queer As Folk-series 4 and 5.
But it's taking forever.
Very little happened today, so I will tell you about the things I've eaten. I didn't really have breakfast (naughty), so for my lunch I ate some of the vegetable curry that has been simmering since yesterday, and is very delicious. Then when Pris came home from work, I had a bit of her pizza that she had delivered. It was phenomenal, for a delivered pizza. I really enjoyed it. That's all I've really eaten today because I'm trying to lose a bit of weight, and the whole "eat little and often" way of doing things isn't working but keeping me at a solid 10 stone. Eugh!
Also, last night I made a root vegetable and coriander soup. It was amazing. If there's one thing I'm good at it is making delicious and nutritious soups. I'd be a pretty handy person to have taking care of you if you were feeling unwell.
At work, a girl asked me if decaf coffee has milk in it. She didn't know what decaf meant.
Mostly I'm really excited to be going to Dublin in 2 weeks. There are activities planned, and I'm going to explore the city and see how much I fall in love with it. I've got the feeling that I will fall quite in love with it. Hopefully the weather will be nice and allow me to enjoy a picnic or two. Actually, if I want a picnic I will have one, rain or shine.
I'm working on a new song that I'll be doing with Edgar Retro, and also will be playing at his club night in Vienna sometime in July.
I cleaned my room today. It looks nice. I might rearrange it tomorrow after I come home from being at work. I really have nothing to write about here, you know. Hmm.
I should leave my window open tonight so that hopefully a vampire will come and make me into a vampire as well. VAMPIRES!

My weekend.
Yesterday, after finishing work, I went to where Pris works, to wait for her to finish.
Then we drove to Sainsbury's to get an orchid and a bottle of wine for Tracey, and also a couple of cases of beer for us because we had thirsty mouths. Then we decided to drive down to London for Nuke Them All. So I did the girls' makeup, and we got dressed, and zoomed off to the big city. We arrived at Mark's house, and checked out the FAB new shed they've erected in the back garden next to the goldfish pond. This shed is massive and soundproofed and decorated like a bachelor pad. I really like it. We went to Nuke which was pretty fun, especially as I got to see everyone I haven't seen in a few weeks at least. Did a bit of misbehaving, and finally left to Mark's for PARTY IN THE SHED. Everyone started to leave quite early, like 5.30 or something, so Pris and Lauren and I went to sleep on the sofa, and when we woke up we went with Zakiya to Broadway Market for a drink drink at The Dove. Then time to go home, and it was the longest walk (drive) of shame ever. Now the girls are asleep, and I'm curled up in my bed nestled amongst my million pillows and cushions feeling safe and secure. I want to watch something, a movie of some kind. I'm quite exhausted but I feel that if I nap now, I'll wake up in the middle of the night, and that will be that, sleeping patterns ruined again.
And, Tracey wants to take us to Thorpe Park tomorrow, then stay overnight in a hotel and go to the zoo on Tuesday. I have to work on Tuesday, so I'd have to get a train back to Chelmsford on Monday night and miss the zoo altogether, which sucks because I LOVE the zoo. I really like looking at strange creatures up close and wanting to keep them. There probably will be lion cubs there and everything (ahem!).
Maybe a quick nap wouldn't hurt...

"Oh look, the sun's come out again!"
I really dig that movie Ladies in Lavender. Judi Dench is so fit. So anyway, last night after Pris picked me up from work, we went to Sainsbury's to get some tunafish, and sweetcorn. We ended up getting tunafish, sweetcorn, red wine. She got also, some cookies, and I got a tin of mackerel fillets (which have by now become my favourite!) Then we went home where I had salad. Then, we got quite stoned, not less because it was the first time I'd been really stoned in a really long time. Like, I can't remember the last time, even. So we kind of cackled alot and realized that Tracey would react one of two ways to us smoking pot in the house. She'd either ask for some, or go "ape shit" as Lauren so colourfully put it. Pris didn't want to find out. She was kind of terrified. And tired. So she went to bed. Which is when Trace phoned to tell Lauren that she wasn't going to be coming home tonight, so Lauren and I decided to have a cocktail or two! We played with sparklers and tried to spell POOP with them.
We took some pretty awkward pictures. And we ate smoked salmon ravioli with an amazing mushroom pesto from Harrod's. After our two cocktails, we went to bed, as I have to be up early today. Day two of work! What will happen? Find out, in the next installment of Every Detail of My Mundane Days! xxxx

My First Workday -Peter Glam, Age 25
Today I started at my new job. It was nice. The other kids were really nice to me, but I think they were just faking it, because they are all hairdressers, and you never know who to trust. My boss is nice too, but he doesn't tell me very much. Like how much money i make, or when my hours are. Most of my day, I spent making coffee and cappuccino for people who are getting their hair cut. Then I sweep up the hair that gets cut. For my lunch, I had a ham and cheese sandwich and a bottle of water. Then I wash bowls full of where the dye for the hair gets mixed up. And last, but not least, I wash the cups that had the coffee and cappuccino that I made for the people who were getting their hair cut. But the day was nice, and I got good luck wishes this morning that helped me through the day. I hope that tomorrow I might make a new friend!
Today was good!
